Abstract

To celebrate 100 Years of Quantum, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. The talk discusses the second quantum revolution and applications of quantum communication, particularly quantum key distribution (QKD).

Dr. Ravindra Pratap Singh is a senior physicist at PRL Ahmedabad specializing in quantum optics, photonics, quantum entanglement, cryptography, and optical technologies.
