Admission Process for M.Tech Program through Institute Round (Non-CCMT)

Eligibility Criteria

  • GEN / EWS / OBC: 6.5 CPI/CGPA on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Sc.
  • SC / ST / PwD: 6.0 CPI/CGPA on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Sc.
Note: GATE is not mandatory.

Financial Assistance

Students admitted through CCMT as well as Institute Round (Non-CCMT) are eligible for institute financial assistance through teaching assistantships.

  • GATE-qualified students: ₹12,400 per month.
  • Non-GATE students may receive financial assistance based on institute requirements.
  • Assistance may be up to 80% of the amount provided to GATE-qualified students, subject to committee recommendations.

Application Process

  1. Pay the application fee:
    • ₹708 for GEN / EWS / OBC
    • ₹354 for SC / ST / PwD

  2. Keep scanned copies of:
    • Graduation marksheets and degree certificate
    • Category certificate (if applicable)
    • CV
    • Photograph
    • Proof of payment
  3. Fill the Online Application Form and submit it.
  4. After submission, sign all pages and email them to: pgadmissions@iiitvadodara.ac.in

MCA Program

Admission Process

Admission to the MCA programme is based on the NIMCET score. The institute may conduct spot admissions after completion of NIMCET counselling against vacant seats.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Nationals securing at least:

  • 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (GEN/EWS/OBC)
  • 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD)

Eligible qualifications:

  1. Any UG programme of minimum three years with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
  2. B.E. / B.Tech from a recognised institution.
Conversion between CGPA and percentage is not permitted.
